So on a chilly Sunday morning here in Osaka, I get a LINE app message inviting me to a small meet up in the South of the city. The chance to shoot a small group of Honda's is on the cards.. Sure, lets do it.
Masahiro-San had bought out his very clean EK9 to the PA, and after demoloshing me second coffee of the day, it was time to hit the shutter and get some frames of this thing.

For the eagle-eyed among you, maybe some of the parts he's chosen will be easily recognisable, especially as we're in Osaka. Osaka-JDM racing mirrors (version ones) along with the Osaka-JDM rear wing instantly catch the eyes attention.

Masahiro trusting Kazu-San and the guys there with a lot of the work thats gone into this particular Civic.

If we move inside we see some nice additions such as the NARDI wheel of which he controls via the snug BRIDE Zeta III.

Rollcage in the rear will also tell you this isn't just a car that frequents the local Konbini store for casual trips.. It gets put to the test elsewhere as well.

DEFI on the dash provides data..

Which of course is derived from the VTEC powered heart in the engine room.

That's neatly put together via a MUGEN N1 ECU tune. Coming off the gas and Masahiro can plant his feet on a racebread footplate, as car moves on all quite comfortable via the Osaka-JDM suspension setup.
The wheels on the ride on the day were not actually his, but just a loan setup whilst some fresh wheels were on order. Thanks to Masahiro-San for the chance to shoot it. Hope you all enjoyed.
